An exciting opportunity has arisen due to continued growth within our organization. We are now looking to expand our team with the addition of an SQL Developer. This role will be working with our Senior SQL Developer.
- Design, implementation and maintenance of SQL databases.
- Support and maintenance of existing .NET systems/applications/interfaces.
- To define, plan and manage releases of application updates.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Good MS SQL database design skills including normalization and constraints.
- Experience with T-SQL (Transact SQL) stored procedures, triggers and database constraints (MS SQL Server 2008 R2, 2012, 2014, 2016).
- Proven Knowledge of the Microsoft stack - SSIS, SSRS
- Experience of coding with object orientated languages (C# preferable).
- Use of .NET Framework / .NET Core. These are mainly used to create Web Services or Console Applications often making calls to external APIs.
- Experience with REST APIs, Web Services and Webhooks.
- Experience with cloud (Azure), virtualization, and VMs.
- Use of Postman to call APIs.
- Creation of appropriate documentation / records SQL developments solutions, such that others can understand and maintain code/solutions effectively.
- Database design and optimization experience.
- Design, development and support experience.

- Ability to own a problem from issue reporting to solution implementation. This could either be from a support perspective for isolated issues or for a larger requirement in a project context.
