Position Overview & Specifications
We’re looking for a Technical Officer to lead our award-winning Highways Records, Street Naming & Numbering and LLPG custodian team.
You will take a lead role in managing these functions, developing our policies and processes to ensure we meet legislative requirements and ensuring the integrity of our datasets. Your team take pride in providing advanced technical advice and information to internal and external customers, which may include formulating policy proposals, enabling Council services to be delivered more effectively and efficiently.
About You
You’ll have many years of experience in the management and use of street and address data and a good knowledge of the legislation and advice relating to this and highways records. You’ll have excellent IT skills; proficient in the use of specialist software for address management, highways records and LLPG.
You’ll be confident in handling, analysing, and interpreting significant amounts of data and be able to translate this into reports and presentations for a range of audiences.
You’ll be able to build strong, effective, and influential relationships with stakeholders, customers and colleague, including managing a small team.
You’ll be able to organise workloads, prioritising and delegating to meet deadlines.
