Your profile
- CCNSG Safety Passport.
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalentqualification with proven experience.
- Excellent communication andorganisational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work withminimal supervision.
- Proactiveattitude to problem solving.
- Good interpersonal skills.
Your responsibilities
- AMechanical / Electrical technician is to perform skilled work in the operation,construction, maintenance, and repair of high voltage electrical substations,and other related electrical and mechanical equipment associated with high voltageelectric substations
- Comply with all Health and Safety, Environmental & QualityPlans and know their duties to be discharged in each case. Carrying out actionsand assist in creating required documentation within the project milestonedates.
- Assist in the production of method statements and riskassessments, stopping work and reviewing RAMS with the Work Party Leader asrequired.
Experience
- It would be desirable to have experience as part of a team on an Electricity SupplyIndustry construction site or similar (Power Generation, Oil & Gas orGeneral Construction Sites).
- Experienced preferred inparticipating in site activities comprising of primary and secondary plantinstallation complying with health, safety, quality and environmentallegislation and practice within a substation environment.
