Assistant Carer / In home Care / Private Care /

We are looking for a mature person to join our team of six personal assistants caring for a 57 year old wheelchair bound man with complex needs.

The position is for two night shifts of 10 hours from 9pm to 7am and two late shifts of 8 hours from 2pm to 10pm. It will also be necessary to work one cover shift in addition when another member of the team is taking annual leave.

Hourly rate is dependent on age and experience, the night rate being £11.20 to £11.50 per hour and the early and late shifts being £10 to £10.25 per hour. Cover shifts are paid at £12 to £12.50 per hour. These rates to be reviewed in April.

Experience is not essential as we provide in-house training catered for the individual being cared for as well as external training in a full range of areas relating to carework.

Please note this is NOT for a live in carer- we do not have access to overseas grants so please only apply if you currently live locally.
