Simply Brands is a fast-growing leading consumer products company with multiple brands covering automotive, consumer electronics and lifestyle products. We work with leading global retailers on both branded and own-brand projects. We have offices based in Hong Kong and China with this role being offered within our fast-growing friendly and interactive team based in Tangmere, near Chichester.

We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our marketing team within a fast-paced company. The role will require input on several exciting and varied design projects - mainly building/maintaining websites, video projects, image manipulation and packaging design. You will also collaborate with senior designers on creating marketing and social media strategies.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to brainstorms and presenting design ideas to the team
• Providing updates on project progress and meeting project deadlines
• Ensuring designs are in line with brand guidelines and industry standards
• Designing and producing brand-related creative collateral for print and digital media, including - brochures, flyers, other supporting material, email marketing, social media, website banners, landing pages, promotional materials and adverts, graphics for shows, exhibitions and events, installation guides, instructions, labels and technical data sheets and business stationery.
• Creating high-quality outputs for multiple clients and projects at the same time.
• Communicating effectively with the marketing team as well as other departments to ensure the design outputs are coherent and on track.
• Creating engaging promo videos and images for our products.
• Maintaining and updating our website with new images and artwork.
• Assisting in creating packaging designs for products.
• Producing print-ready documents (instruction manuals, safety documents etc.)
• Photographing products in-house and out.
• Proof-checking your own work.
• Managing last-minute tasks.

Requirements

• Confident and knowledgeable in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Hootsuite, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and InDesign ( XD, FIGMA, and HTML would be an advantage)
• Strong working knowledge of layout for websites and video content, from conception to sign-off.
• Experience in video creation, editing and animation.
• Passion for design, marketing, content and social media with absolute attention to detail
• Good understanding of typography and type hierarchy.
• Willing to learn new skills and tools.
