Show Site Sales Manager

Skinners Sheds are looking for a professional sales representative to manage on our show site in Wickford.

A sales background is not essential, as full training will be given to the right person. Skinners Sheds and Log Cabins are the largest timber building manufacture in the South. Over the years the company has grown from strength to strength and has now evolved into a thriving business.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn new skills and reap the rewards with a company that is constantly expanding. Predominantly the role is to sell our high-quality timber buildings in a low pressured sales environment. We are therefore looking for people with the following basic but essential skills which will enable them to carry out their duties and daily tasks to a professional standard.

First and foremost, you will need to have the right attitude and mind set to succeed within a professional sales environment and be prepared to learn new skills. You will need an aptitude for administration including basic numeracy, literacy and a reasonable level of competence with computers and email. Presentation is key, and our show sites are naturally at the forefront of the business, so our managers must be prepared to keep them in pristine condition for our customers.

As a representative of the company, you must also be prepared to maintain a smart personal appearance along with a willingness to excel in customer service. You will need to be reliable, punctual and prepared to work weekends due to the nature of our business. Finally, you will need your own vehicle and Full UK Driving Licence to apply for this position.

In return we will offer the successful candidate a permanent contract subject to a 6-month probation period, a basic rate of pay £12 per hour, plus 2% commission and overtime. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person.
