Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

As part of the Mechanical Design Team within the Manufacturing department, you’ll help drive production excellence. As a key member you will touch every aspect of the product design lifecycle, from Design for: manufacture, repair, cost and quality, to the commissioning of tools and component / product qualification.

• Experience in crafting consumer electronics products (or similar) with injection moulded components.
• The ability to simplify sophisticated problems and rationally communicate your ideas and issues with multiple partners.
• Energy, passion, and a can-do attitude to conquer design challenges.
• Knowledge of common mass manufacturing methods, and the ability to foresee production constraints.

Your office base:

Brentwood (main office):
Our location takes some beating: we’re practically in Brentwood station, which has regular trains to London Liverpool Street. If you find it easier to drive, there’s some onsite parking, while Chatham Way car park is a short walk away.

Osterley:
Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
