As a Receptionist / Security Pass Operatives at HMNB Portsmouth , You'll be passionate about inter-communication and have our customers at heart of everything you do. What you’ll do:

• Process temporary ID passes for all visitors to Portsmouth naval base in a timely manner
• Manage the security application process from end to end, ensuring that all applications are completed correctly and processed in line with MoD requirements for all contractors and sub-contracts accessing the site
• Ensuring that the highest level of security is maintained at all times
• Being the first face, many will see, you’ll be an important role model when it comes to what great customer service will look like
• Connect visitors and customers with the appropriate party while following all visitor management processes
• Ensure delivery of 5-star customer service
• Support with induction management, work-place support, hospitality, and meeting room connectivity
• Communicate politely, always creating a memorable experience for our customers and visitors.

What you bring:

• Excellent team ethos and superb communication skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm under pressure

• Previous experience in a similar role is a bonus, but a can-do attitude and complete customer focus will tick the box

• Champion of health & safety practices

• 37.5 hours per week
• £11.00 per hour
• 5 days out of 7
• Monday - Friday shifts between 6:00-18:00
• Saturdays - 7:00 - 12:00
• Full uniform supplied
