Are you an experienced Front-end Developer who wants to develop their skills and step into a growing team?


The role

Here at the Solicitors Regulation Authority, we are looking for a Front End Developer to join our development team.

You will work closely with our digital team to ensure that the digital services meet the needs of our customers and provide an exceptional user experience.

The development and design of both internal and externally facing applications – websites, APIs, and modular integration components. You will be key to setting up standards, principles, and ways of working and how we achieve this in the most effective manner.

You will also have oversight of third-party code delivery, including review of code, pull requests and technical documentation.

Reporting into the Software Development Manager, you will use your experience to help shape our methodologies, processes, and drive adoption into the team.

What we are looking for

  • A passion for user experience design, customer journeys and care about the look and feel of a website
  • Knowledge and experience in HTML and CSS
  • Knowledge and experience in JavaScript and frontend frameworks including Angular and Vue.js
  • Knowledge and experience in Azure, C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, Web API and xUnit
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Ability to work collaboratively and have a result orientated approach
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
