Administration Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Administration Assistant to join our team!

The DADO Team handle requests for information from the general public, patients, staff, police, solicitors and other third parties under the Data Protection Act 2018, UK GDPR, Access to Health Records Act 1990 and the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

At present the department receives approximately 2000 Data Access requests & 700 Freedom of Information requests a year.

You will require impeccable interpersonal skills, to communicate effectively with colleagues of all levels of seniority, and be able to build excellent working relationships to ensure common goals can be achieved.

You will be responsible for providing a professional, efficient and confidential administration service as part of the Data Access and Disclosure Office.

You will contribute as a member of the administrative team to the efficient smooth running of the Data Access and Disclosure Office.

• Working within the Data Access & Disclosure team supporting with administrative duties relating to data access requests.
• Supporting an efficient and effective administrative service within the team.
• Recording the Data Protection requests on a database, collating documentation.
• Printing and copying record.
