Pharmacy Storekeeper (Band 2 progressing to Band 3)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working person to join the Pharmacy team and take responsibility for the efficient running of the Pharmacy stores at Musgrove Park Hospital.

The job will involve processing all incoming Pharmaceutical products in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and ensuring effective stock rotation within all the stores areas. You will be required to manage your own workload efficiently, prioritising as demand dictates, and ensuring stock is stored appropriately within recommended parameters.

Other duties include: Carrying out product stock checks, monitoring expiry dates to identify short dated/non-moving stock to minimise wastage, and undertaking basic weekly Robot maintenance.

You must be able to demonstrate experience in general storekeeping and stock management processes/ previous use and understanding of stock control systems combined with the ability to use a range of IT systems - please read on for more details in the job description.
