Company description

We have a herd of 700 Holstein cows supplying M&S from our farm which lies adjacent to the Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve. We are RSPCA Assured and there is a strong emphasis on high animal welfare, sustainability and biodiversity.

The herd is milked twice daily through a swingover parlour, cubicle housed on sand, with activity monitors on all cows.

Job description

We have a vacancy for a herdsperson to join our progressive team near Chichester, West Sussex.

Good previous experience is essential.

The role will involve milking in shifts within a team of 6, scraping, bedding up cubicles and straw yards and possibly relief TMR feeding if experienced with machinery.

The location is fantastic between the South Downs National Park and the sea, close to the Cathedral City of Chichester. Remuneration will be excellent and a 3 bedroom house is available.
