Sous Chef - Prestwick Airport (Bars)

At SSP UK we now are recruiting for a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Prestwick Airport.

We are 'The Food Travel Experts' - the leading operator of restaurants, bars, cafes and food courts in travel locations. Established for more than 60 years, our operations feature a mix of food and beverage brands tailored specifically for each location. You will be joining a world-leading food service organisation with superb learning, development and progression opportunities, operating over 400 stores in the UK alone.

As a Sous Chef, you will be instrumental in motivating and developing them to deliver high-quality food, made to set specifications, consistently. You will also be responsible for supporting in the delivery of operational and financial results such as GP and stock control, and ensuring the kitchen is staffed to meet business needs within budget, as well as ensuring compliance with health & safety, food hygiene and licensing requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Similar experience within a high-volume bar, food production or similar branded commercial kitchen environment.
• Good understanding and passion for food and delivering consistently high standards in quality and presentation.
• Evidence of having motivated and developed your team to deliver excellent l standards, and develop their skills for future progression.
