Housekeeper/Cleaner

Stay Gower are now recruiting House keeping staff to clean and turn over holiday lets around Swansea and Gower, with extra work available in Pembrokeshire should you require more hours.

Work is available as guests check out of properties, you would be required to drive to properties (Your own transport is required) with a colleague, minimum of 2 people to a property. Clean it to a very high standard, make the beds and top up the inventory in the house with things like loo rolls, hand soaps etc.

We are happy for people to enquire as a team with a driver and transport, or as individuals with their own transport.

We supply all cleaning products, tools and top ups and training. We pay £10.50 an hour on the books, hours are based on the number of properties that we have guests checking out of, so summer holidays will be our busiest time with the most cleans available. Most turn overs will be on the weekend with some mid week work available as well.

Ideally cleaning experience would be preferable, however we are happy to interview if you have no experience, if we believe you could be right for the job we will give you a few trial shifts and training to see how you do. Driving and availability to work the scheduled cleans is essential to the role, so please don't apply if you are unable to work weekends or will regularly not be able to work for other reasons.

We are an up and coming business that has over 200 properties between the Gower and Pembrokeshire. We have a small friendly leadership team that works closely together. You will be recognised as a valuable team member and will be treated with respect as such. Holiday pay can be accrued based on hours worked over the previous 12 weeks as well, plus it is a nice addition to your CV!

A standard day would see you arrive to the office in Swansea to collect what you need for your day, you will be paid from when you set off from the office, to when you arrive back after the clean including travel. If you are the driver using your own transport you will be provided with a mileage allowance to cover fuel.

Cleaning will need to be completed quickly and efficiently without cutting corners. Quality of clean is the most important aspect of the job as our business is based around the good reviews we receive from our guests.
