JUNIOR CAD TECHNICIAN

JUNIOR POSITION: Junior CAD Technician

SALARY: £23,000 – £25,000

LOCATION: Commutable from Hull, Beverley, Bridlington, Howden, Goole, Pocklington, Hessle and Selby.

THE ROLE: My client are looking to expand their team by adding a Junior CAD Technician to their Design Team. The opportunity presents itself as an enticing role for an individual who is looking to develop their career within the design sector who has a passion for technical design. The organic progression within this role would see you step into a Design CAD Technician role.

DUTIES:
– To prepare, process and distribute the necessary drawings, cutting lists and technical details that would be required to manufacture a high end product

– To assist the furniture and jigs draughtsman, producing drawings for both production and new product design

– To process modifications of pre-existing drawings using AutoCAD

– To assist with the printing and plotting of production requested replacement drawings

– Assisting with the production of CSV notching files, manually extracting applicable data from live drawings using bespoke software built into AutoCAD

– Assisting with aftersales and warranty queries, providing drawings and cutting lists as required

EXPERIENCE:
– Experience of using AutoCAD 2020

– Experience of designing production products previously
