Lifting Equipment Engineer

Stonebridge Inspection and Testing Serviced are a rapidly growing Nottingham based service provider for the examination, testing, repair and maintenance of lifting equipment and associated material.

We are looking to employ and additional lifting equipment engineer based in the Nottingham/Derby areas to carry out thorough examinations to LOLER and repairs and maintenance to a wide range of lifting equipment.

Ranging from loose lifting ie chains, shackles to lifting appliances such as hoists, winches and other related equipment.

The engineer will have experience in these areas and also;

• Hold at least a LEEA Foundation qualification
• Have experience servicing/testing a wide range of lifting equipment
• Have strong attention to detail
• Have the ability to work alone or with others
• Experience with using tablets/laptops to report findings
• Have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points

The role will include some working away and some weekend work.

Ongoing training will be offered with the opportunity to gain additional qualifications and receive additional training.

A company vehicle will be supplied with fuel card.

Working hours will be flexible to meet the needs of our customers @ 40 hours a week plus overtime.
