Position Overview & Specifications

People

- Need to support and co-ordinate new team members’ induction on their first day and REAL 1 training.
- Coach our team member’s on the shop floor/ in the stock room to support their development.
- Reward and praise our team members for a job well done.
- Will need to be involved in giving day to day feedback to our team members.
- Plan for my own reviews and agree my SMART objectives with my Store Manager.
- Communicate our store KPIs, results and focuses to our team when I head up briefings.
- Pick up the phone to speak to my Area Manager and other Head Office team members when I am in charge of the store and when I need support.
- Feedback our team’s feedback on what it is like to work in our store and what we can improve to our managers. We work together to ensure our back areas are clean/ tidy and our staff room is a pleasant area for relaxation.

Customer
- Support the manager in ensuring Sale and Service is consistently alive in our store and/ or exists in the customer service our stockroom team provide our internal customers.
- Work with the store team to make sure our Visual Merchandising directives/ promotions are followed at all times, densities are in place and the store is fully ‘shoppable’.
- Help communicate our REAL shop results and improvement points so that our team are aware of everything happening from a customer perspective.
- Check at the beginning of my shift that the right people are in the right place at the right time in my area of responsibility.
- To be part of the team that co-ordinates and delivers a first class REAL customer experience.
- Deal with customer queries and complaints and talk through the solutions found with the team member’s involved.

Operation
- Support the manager, when required, to ensure stockroom processing and replenishment procedures are in place.
- Monitor/ assess when required that our stock room consistently follows Model Store standards.
- Help the manager monitor productivity levels and ensure recalls and transfers are completed effectively and to the deadlines set.
- As a team we ensure all Health and Safety checks are in place and any issues are highlighted to the relevant Head Office department if support is needed.

Finance
- Understand our Store Sales Targets and our management team communicate these to our team daily.
- Help minimise loss of product in our store by promoting security awareness at all times and ensuring the team feel comfortable to report any concerns. I also clearly communicate the staff discount policy/ procedure at induction and follow up/ give reminders.
- Take some responsibility for all Loss and Prevention procedures and ensure they are all in place.
- Support the manager by considering cost control by authorising Paid Outs and assessing what is necessary to spend on items such as postage and cleaning products.
- Understand all the financial targets and KPIs and help communicate these to the team.
