Going forward, the opportunities in Engineering Design Services: Capital Projects Team will continue to grow. Swansea Council is committed to addressing how we all travel. This is a key pillar in enabling the city to grow, meeting the demands of business and developers whilst promoting a more integrated society with linked communities enjoying the benefits of City Centre life with good transport links to the villages and towns in the beautiful surrounding countryside and coast. The Capital Projects Team will be at the core of this, helping to deliver a wide portfolio of transport infrastructure, Active Travel, public realm and highway schemes, ranging from minor traffic management projects through to multi-million pound integrated transport and highway maintenance schemes.

The successful candidate will perform a key role, working with principal contractors, sub-contractors, utility providers, stakeholders, Councillors and the public.
