HGV Driver - Class 2, ADR Tanker Driver - Aberdare - URGENTLY REQUIRED

We are a growing Plant Hire company that specialises in providing Bowser Solutions for large-scale rail and infrastructure projects. We are proud to be working on an exciting project working in Aberdare, and require a motivated, self-starting HGV Driver to work with us in a bespoke Fuel tanker.

Role Requirements

• Site experience preferred, but not essential as training will be available to the right candidate
• Must have ADR (Tanks & Packages)
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weathers and with Fuel.
• HGV Category C Drivers Licence allowing you to drive in the UK
• ADR Licence required
• CSCS Card required
• DCPC Training up to date
• Relevant Medical up to date
• Good Spoken English to be able to communicate on site with other workers

Role Responsibilities

• Driving and operating your bespoke vehicle in accordance with Road Traffic Legislation and the Highway Code. It will be your responsibility to keep this vehicle clean and serviceable.
• Filling plant and other machinery working on the project with fuel in line with the clients requirements.
• Ensure that all Daily Vehicle Checks are undertaken and reported
• Make effective use of safety equipment, particularly personal protective equipment. There is a zero-tolerance policy on health and safety.
• To comply with all legislative requirements, company policy and procedures at all times
• To return all job and time sheets as well as any other associated documentation applicable as instructed by your Manager
• To comply with Contract and Site Managers at all times

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Aberdare, CF44 0LX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Driving a HGV: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• ADR Licence (required)
• CSCS Card (required)
