Healthcare Support Worker

About The Role

Here at TAC Healthcare, we are expanding our teams and we have a requirement for a Healthcare Support Worker to join our Endoscopy team in Braintree. You will deliver an Endoscopy service to the highest standard, using a model of care that recognises the psychological, physical and social needs of our patients.

What you’ll do:

• Welcoming patients to the clinic in a professional manner and acting as patient advocate at all times.
• Cleaning, monitoring and tidying equipment as directed and report any problems or malfunctions to senior member of staff
• Record, feedback and convey relevant patient information/observations to the seniors.
• Delivers patient care in accordance with the care plan as documented by the Senior Nurse.
• Maintain effective communications with patients, relatives and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrates positive attitude, acting as an advocate for TAC Healthcare Group and deliver highest standard of care accordingly.

About you:

• Personal interest & experience of delivering patient centred care.
• A good understanding of health and safety and infection control
• Flexible for working patterns to fulfil site requirements.
• Commitment to continuous professional learning demonstrate up-keeping of required skills and competencies.
• Time Management and workload management
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
