Taverham is an excellent, 11-18 school with a caring, positive ethos, we seek to promote the development of students into resilient, independent young people, who are respectful and make a positive contribution to the wider community and beyond. The school was substantially redeveloped under the PFI in 2007 and we became an academy in April 2013; our facilities are first-class. We pride ourselves on the professional development we offer our staff.

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic professional to join our English Department. The successful candidate will teach English Language and Literature across the full age and ability range. If you have initiative, enthusiasm for learning, good educational qualifications and some experience in working with young people, we would like to meet you. The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching to KS3 and KS4 to GCSE and have confidence in teaching a broad range of ability. There may also be the opportunity to teach Media Studies at GCSE and/or A-level.

Informal visits to the academy prior to interview can be arranged.
