Job specification:

A Java developer is responsible for several Java-related duties throughout the software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing. The developer is required to create user information solutions through the development, implementation, and maintenance of Java-based components and interfaces including building new features on the gaming platform, gateway API and web portal.

The most important is that one understands the product deeply, researches new technologies, and suggests new possible implementation options; improves the product with a new technology stack, monitors and supports the evolution of the product.

Responsibilities:

Design and implementation of modern, HTTP REST services on AWS

Improve and support of existing services and applications

Desire to have full ownership of the entire SDLC from conception through build and deployment, to ongoing production operational support

Work in a true Agile environment where all team members are expected to own the solution including deployment, testing, quality, monitoring and operational excellence

Collaborate with other craft specialists in specifying game server requirements

Deployment and maintenance of live game servers

Work closely with distributed databases and various cloud services

Provide support and assistance to operation teams, troubleshooting production issues with game backend services

Implement build, deployment and test automation to ensure high quality and enable continuous delivery

Requirements:

5+ years of experience with Java

Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)Patterns and Concept

Experience with Spring Framework

Knowledge of Web services (REST)

Experience with Amazon Web Services(AWS)

Skill for writing reusable Java libraries

Know how of Java concurrency patterns

Excellent Java programming skills, especially in building highly available, scalable and reliable services

Experience with Linux (or similar) platforms

Knowledge of Continuous Integration and experience in creating/maintenance of Jenkins pipelines

Salary: £75,000.00-£120,000.00 per year
