Warehouse Operative
Contract type: Full time, permanent. Immediate start!
Hours: Full time Monday - Friday, some weekend work required
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Pay: £22,000 per annum
ABOUT US:
Active Learning Group is a portfolio of exciting brands, each of which specialise in providing children with exceptional learning experiences beyond the classroom; spanning outdoor education for schools, summer camps and day care for children during the school holidays. Our offering includes outdoor residential experiences, language schools, sports camps and multi-activity day camps.
THE ROLE:
Delivering our experiences requires a lot of equipment; whether it's tents and authentic pizza ovens for our Bushcraft experiences, boxes of LEGO for SuperCamps or laser tag equipment for Ardmore Language Schools - our Warehouse team are vital to keeping each adventure running smoothly.
During the operating season you'll work slightly longer hours as your role will involve picking stock and packing blocks ready for delivery by our drivers to one of our sites across the UK, as well as receiving and sorting incoming return deliveries.
During the closed season you'll work shorter hours but there'll be a lot of prep work to ensure everything is received back into the warehouse and accounted for, cleaned, repaired/replaced, stock checked and stored ready for the next season.

Previous Warehouse or logistics experience is preferable.
Driving license preferable (so that we can put you through a forklift licence)
