Pet Taxi Driver/Doggy Daycare Assistant
Set in Morpeth we are the North Easts largest 5 star rated purpose built doggy day care centre operating since 2018, we are looking to recruit a driver for our pet taxi!

Your duties will include

● Drive our purpose-built van to collect our clients’ dogs from their homes and then drive them to our centre. We have clients from Blyth to Morpeth and everywhere in between! You will pick up dogs from these locations and you’re welcome to take your van home with you in the evening.

● Supervise the dogs, keeping them safe, happy, watered, cool etc.

● Pitch in with day care when needed to cover absence/sickness.

● Then it is home time. You will drive tired and happy dogs off to their owners. If you are the right person for our job, you will need to show us the following:

● First, foremost a dog lover who is comfortable with all breeds of dogs and sizes.

● You are passionate about animal care. You will be part of a close-knit group of dog lovers, so being a good team player is essential.

● You are an exceptional driver. Previous van driving experience is not essential but being a confident and capable driver with a clean driving licence absolutely is!

● You are great with customers. You will be face-to-face with many of our lovely clients when you pick up and drop off the dogs, so a charming disposition and being able to speak good English are essential qualities.

An NVQ Level 2 or above in Animal Care And Welfare or relevant qualifications that are OFQUAL recognised would be preferred but not essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
