Job Title:
Personal Assistant (PA)
Location:
Home care in the Southampton.
Nature of the job role:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will support the employer to live an independent personal and social life.
Main Duties & Role Purpose:
- To help provide assistance with all aspects of my personal care, including all washing and dressing on a daily basis.
- To help provide assistance when it comes to the specific care needs such as my supra pubic catheter.
- To help provide assistance with putting my ventilator on as well as monitoring the settings and levels.
- To help provide assistance throughout the day in preparing my food and drink to maintain my nutrition and hydration.
- All assistance provided as per my care and support plans.
- To help me maintain my current level of care in my own home so that I feel safe and well supported.
- To help me be able to access a variety of different social and leisure activities to keep me occupied and get out and about to different places outside of my own home like going to football matches and concerts.
- Training provided if/where required.
Rate of pay:
£ 15.00 per hour weekday + weekend
£ 22.50 per hour bank holiday
Working hours:
To be part of a team providing 24hr care, working 12hr day and/or night shifts, split shifts are also available, (by agreement, some weekend and bank holiday work required)
Holidays:
5.6 weeks (including bank holidays) per annum
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 6-36 per week
Salary: £15.00-£22.50 per hour
