After substantial growth over the last year and the opening of our first Create & Coat Mani Pedi Spa by The GelBottle Inc and award-winning sister brand Peacci. Based within Harvey Nichols Manchester. We are now excited to announce we are expanding our nail tech family and looking for a salon Manager.

To lead a 6+ salon team as the manager, representing The GelBottle in a premier store providing manicure, pedicure, and nail art services to clients. Encouraging repeat bookings and upselling retail products for home use. Leading the team locally, dealing with everyday management issues affecting the team and the business. Providing training, coaching and coordination for the team, regularly reporting into Head Office when required and being the face of this exciting salon brand. You must be a competent nail technician yourself and experienced in leading others, to allow for every eventuality and be able to adapt to all circumstances. You will also be confident in providing services for natural and artificial nails. A close understanding in The GelBottle products will be a distinct advantage but full training will be given. You will need to have some years of experience in salon management or team leader roles as management is an important part of this role, this is a remote based team, so self-sufficiency is key.

You will be accountable/responsible for the overall performance of your salon in terms of bookings, sales, and customer experience, but you will have access to Head Office based professional marketeers to ensure you get the best in local exposure and advertising.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Outstanding nail technician and leader of others in the same field
• Good personal presentation, strong communicator, warm and friendly
• Exceptional selling skills and able to build a new business from scratch
• Good standard of written/verbal English
• Provide hands on leadership, motivating the team to deliver exceptional customer service, consistently going above and beyond clients’ expectations.
• Manage the rollout of new product/treatment launches and team training
• Manage the salon’s admin tasks, offering treatment information by phone/email and booking appointments
• Stay up to date with new and on-trend products/treatments, working closely with our marketing team to help create content and salon advertisement.
• Management of the team rota
• Financial responsibility for the salon, including stock control and margins
• Be responsible for spa equipment, products and ensure the cleanliness is kept to a high standard
• Set team targets and manage the appraisal process
• Ensuring H&S requirements are met
• Recruit and train new staff members to deliver high quality treatments
• Be a TGB brand ambassador with expert knowledge about the brand and treatments on offer
• Delegating tasks to the team
• Excellent communication with Harvey Nichols to ensure we are always working with them
• Communications with staff, Line Managers and General Manager
• Achieving treatment and retail targets
