Position Overview & Specifications
The Housing Network are looking for a Cleaning Operative in Slough to clean and maintain MOJ portfolio supported accommodation programmes to ensure that they operate as smoothly and effectively as possible.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Cleaning of rooms/properties as directed, ensuring that all rooms/properties are of a good clean standard
- Cleaning void rooms/properties to prepare them for new residents.
- Remove rubbish and dispose of correctly
- Check kitchen appliances are clean and free from hazards and common part areas are free from hazards
- Ensure that houses are hygienic and well maintained
- Report any repairs to the maintenance office team
- Support when no lone working is required
- Carry out sharps sweeps
Essential skills:
- Cleaning experience
- Extremely well-organised
- Have a high standard of cleaning
- Driving license
- Able to work well under pressure
- Good at multi-tasking
- The ability to prioritize
- Able to work alone and part of a team
