Position Overview & Specifications

The Housing Network are looking for a Cleaning Operative in Slough to clean and maintain MOJ portfolio supported accommodation programmes to ensure that they operate as smoothly and effectively as possible.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Cleaning of rooms/properties as directed, ensuring that all rooms/properties are of a good clean standard
  • Cleaning void rooms/properties to prepare them for new residents.
  • Remove rubbish and dispose of correctly
  • Check kitchen appliances are clean and free from hazards and common part areas are free from hazards
  • Ensure that houses are hygienic and well maintained
  • Report any repairs to the maintenance office team
  • Support when no lone working is required
  • Carry out sharps sweeps

Essential skills:

  • Cleaning experience
  • Extremely well-organised
  • Have a high standard of cleaning
  • Driving license
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Good at multi-tasking
  • The ability to prioritize
  • Able to work alone and part of a team
