*****Machine Operator Required*****
The Lindum Snack Company Ltd have a position available for a friendly hardworking person to operator one of our production lines (Vertical Form & Fill Sealing Machine (VFFS), Multihead Weigher) The successful candidate must me physically strong as heavy lifting is required.
Permanent Position
The position is a single shift (Days), Monday to Friday, 8:00am till 4:30pm with 30 minutes (unpaid) for lunch, this is a total of 40 working hours per week.
The hourly rate for the position is £11.42p per hour.
Overtime would be paid at time and a half (Overtime is subject to availability).
20 days annual leave, plus 8 days UK National Holidays (bank holidays) each calendar year.
Please note we do not pay sick pay.
Good spoken and written English is essential.
Transport is NOT provided.
Experience is not essential as training will be given.
Main duties would include
- Setting up and operation of a Vertical Form and Fill Sealing production line.
- Setting / programming of a Multihead Weighing Machine.
- Ensuring all technical specifications are set to the correct tolerances.
- Making sure all QC documentation are completed.
- Loading of bulk stock into production line.
- Cleaning / hygiene of production line.
- General area housekeeping.
Other Duties may include
- Cleaning equipment & utensils.
- Assisting on other production lines
- Assisting in other packing areas.
- Plus a number of other small duties.
The Lindum Snack Company was established in 1991, manufacturing and supplying Peanuts, Nuts, Confectionery and Savoury Snacks into the leisure sector. Our site is located on the outskirts of Boston, Lincolnshire, in the small village of Cowbridge PE22 7DJ.
