Café Team Member

The little Gem is a 100% plant-based café serving a variety of approachable savoury dishes and sweet treats. We provide genuine service, authentic food and aim to make positive impact on the community. We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate human to join Thelittle Gem family and add a bit of sparkle to every customers journey.

The Person:

· Experience working in a coffee shop/café.

· Confident at multitasking.

· Organised and efficient.

· Attention to detail.

· Comfortable working in a fast paced, busy atmosphere – on your feet all day.

· Adjustable with the ability to priorities tasks.

· Happy working in a small team & working environment.

· 18 or over – we are a license café.

· Responsibilities: Front of house, with the flexibility to mix it up and give a helping hand in the kitchen where the magic happens. FOH duties: Welcoming. Taking orders. Making and serving hot & cold beverages. Serving food and takeaways. Taking payments. Clearing tables. Dazzling the customers.

· Desired but not essential: Vegan/Plant based. Passion for food & coffee. Social media savvy.
