Position Overview & Specifications
The Menu Partners is a new business venture between two major food providers. We will act as both the food sourcing procurement and distribution partners to hotels, pubs, restaurants along with provision of hospitality, throughout the UK and beyond.
This new partnership with several restaurant chains on board will be the preferred third-party logistics provider in the UK to facilitate all frozen, chilled and ambient food deliveries on our new fleet of vehicles.
Job Function:
The Deliver Driver’s role playing a key part of in the timely delivery of key items, you'll be assisting in a key area of the business helping to drive better efficiency and customer success.
You will ensure that the operation performs effectively and efficiently on a daily basis and complies with all Legal, Health and Safety, Hygiene regulations and Company Policies. You will be aiming to deliver a “best in class” facility for operational efficiency.
As a Deliver Driver you will be working both alone and as part of a team with efficiency and commitment to complete your work and strive to maintain the business performance targets.
Principle Responsibilities:
Following routed deliveries & collections within and around Sussex and surrounding areas. (Monday to Saturday)- Being the company’s eye’s and ear’s when out on the road and relaying necessary information to the team
- Representing the company to the highest standard
- Maintenance of your company van and daily checks reporting any defects
- Completing in full daily/ weekly paperwork
- Minimizing levels of wastage by correctly maintaining & storing products.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Help to complete other tasks
Skill Requirements:
Passion for the food industry- Possess full clean driving license and ability to drive a van
- Great customer service skills and an interest in meeting new people.
- Ambition to be a key part of a fast-growing team and business.
- Well organised, have a keen eye for detail and high quality
- Self-motivated and able to think on their feet
- Proactive and flexible in their day to day approach
- Strategic thinker with initiative
- Excellent time management skills

- Good knowledge of Sussex and surrounding areas

Working Times: Monday to Saturday - 05:00 to 13:00 (48 hours per week)
