We are currently expanding our dedicated Greenkeeping team and have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Greenkeeper, who will have a vital role in ensuring our golf course is maintained to a championship standard.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a greenkeeper
- NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) in sports turf
- Ability to work unsupervised and in a team
- High level of attention to detail in all tasks undertaken
- Good communication skills
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
- Good time management
The below attributes would be an advantage:
- Spraying Pa1, 2 and 6
- Chainsaw cs 30/31
- Possesses a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- A sound understanding of the game of golf
Duties will include:
- Daily turf maintenance and preparation to high standards
- Maintaining bunkers
- Preparation and routine maintenance of machinery
- Communicating effectively with colleagues, supervisors, members and guests
- Monitor and maintain health and safety working practices
