Are you cocoa nuts about chocolate? We have a fantastic opportunity for a chocolate loving Catering Manager to join the Amadeus team at Cadbury World.

We’re looking for a chocolate loving Catering Manager to join our fantastic team at one of the UK’s most popular family attractions.

Amadeus is a multi award winning catering business with over 40 years of experience, operating at various venues including its home sites at the NEC, ICC, VOX, Utilita Arena and Resorts World Arena, as well as Regional venues including Cadbury World, where you’ll be predominantly based.

We have a fantastic opportunity available to join Freddo, the Caramel Bunny, Bertie Bassett and the team at Cadbury World as a Catering Manager.

We are looking for a Catering Manager who can cover all aspects of catering operations on a day to day basis running numerous outlets situated across the venue. You will also need to support a wide range of hospitality events and conferences.

While your role will be predominately based at Cadbury World, at times you may be required to work at the group’s other venues and events.

If you are a dedicated individual who is passionate about delivering excellent standards to our customers and you love chocolate, then we want you to give us a Twirl.

We are looking for someone who has previous supervisory experience in a related industry such as Restaurants, Pubs, Bars, Contract Catering, Hotels, Leisure or Food with Retail experienced preferred but not essential.

However, experience of working in a fast paced customer focused environment is essential. The role will also require energy, confidence, and problem solving skills.

You must have a flexible approach to work in a 7 day a week operation hours can vary each week depending on the nature and volume of the business hours will include weekends, bank holiday and evenings.

Some of your duties will be to:

  • Complete accurate forecasting and reporting of financial data in accordance with set deadlines, consulting as necessary with the Catering Operations Manager making suggestions to improve profitability of area.
  • To ensure you, your direct reports and those others working within your areas of responsibility do so in accordance with current, applicable health and safety fire safety legislation and group health and safety policies, procedures and arrangements.
  • To implement and manage those group health and safety fire safety policies, procedures and arrangements as applicable to your work activities and working environment.
  • Proactively manage resources and take appropriate action to changes in the business.
  • To deputise when required for the Catering Operations Manager.
  • Ensure staff are trained in all aspects of role ability to recognise training requirements and offer hands on approach when required.
  • Practical supervision of temporary staff to include appropriate long-term development of staff dealing with disciplinary issues, managing absenteeism etc.
  • To implement, monitor and oversee delivery of all standards, meeting, and exceeding customer expectations.
  • To provide effective complaint handling in accordance with standards by investigating complaints, liaising with customers and staff to determining necessary action.
  • To demonstrate high leadership skills thereby providing the basis for high group moral and staff motivation.
  • To allocate duties and responsibilities to all team members.
