Position Overview & Specifications
We are looking for a part time Kitchen Porter / Assistant at The Old Black Horse, a country pub and kitchen situated in Mapperley village, Ilkeston.
Min Age 16 yrs
No experience necessary, training given.
Duties include washing pots, cleaning, prepping vegetables, salads and desserts as well as other tasks as instructed by the head chef. Must be available, and willing to work, for weekends, bank holidays and special occasions including / especially Christmas. Flexibility is important.
Starting wage will be set at National Minimum Wage (or no less than £5 per hour for 16 / 17 year olds)
All shifts will be midweek evening and weekend shifts. Except during the summer holidays when we will be open during the afternoon midweek, and overtime will be available. (Bank holidays will also be afternoon shifts.)

Part-time hours: 24 per week
Salary: £5.00-£10.50 per hour
