We are currently seeking a remote registered Pharmacy Technician to work in General Practice. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to work from home.
The Role
- Undertake medicine reconciliations of patient record
- Prescribing in line with the practice protocols
- Update patient records, support medicine reviews and synchronization for groups of patients i.e., care homes
- Help patients to get the best from their medicines by switching the medications to agreed and approved protocols.
- Carry out prescribing audits and medicines safety alerts.
In recognition of the important role pharmacy technicians can play in general practice we are seeking a professional who can support patients to get the most from their medicines, contributing to Structures Medication Reviews (SMRs) in collaboration with the clinical pharmacist and improving patients' management and safe use of medicines.
The Skills
To join our team, you will have 6 months minimum experience of working in a general practice as a registered pharmacy technician.
You will have a relevant degree/qualification to show you are registered and you will be a highly focused and motivated individual.
