The finer details:
Location: THE PIG at Bridge Place, Canterbury, Kent
Hours: Min 10 hours per festival (various shifts, 9am earliest start / 1am latest finish)
Contract Type: Fixed Contract for work on Saturday 12th August.
Salary: £11.00
Travel & Accommodation: We do not offer travel or millage allowances to/from the festival locations. Staff must either reside locally or source their own accommodation & travel prior/after each festival.
Uniform: Staff will be provided with branded T-shirts. All staff are required to wear their own suitable trousers/shorts, footwear and bring any other essentials such as sunglasses with them on the day.
Food & Beverage: All staff will be provided with food & beverages throughout the day.
Additional Information: Applicants must be 18+ due to the required hours and serving of alcohol.
About the role:
As Festival Day Staff you will be supporting our Festival Team with all service functions on the day of the festival.
Responsibilities included, but not limited to:
- Providing a hands-on approach to the set-up and/or pack-down of service stalls and equipment.
- Meet and greet/ front gate and ticketing duties.
- Preparing & serving food and beverages.
- Maintaining the presentation of the festival grounds, litter-picking & clearing tables/ seating area’s
- Supporting festival goers with any generic enquiries.
We are looking for reliable individuals, who will turn up on the day and get ‘stuck in’. Previous experience working at a festival or within a busy food & beverage/ service environment is advantageous.
