Room Attendant Casual

up to £12.00 depending on experience

A four star hotel in the centre in South Kensington and Knightsbridge, The Rembrandt offers 194 luxurious bedrooms, 6 flexible event suites, a newly renovated restaurant and bar, and Aquilla Health and Fitness. Placed just across the road from London’s Victoria and Albert Museum, The Rembrandt is located in a superb area, just steps from the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Hyde Park, Harrods and the Royal Albert Hall. A favourite of independent business and leisure travellers from across the globe, The Rembrandt prides itself on offering impeccable service to every guest.

We are looking for Room Attendants with previous cleaning experience and the ability to work in a busy environment maintaining high standards. This is an hourly paid casual role and hours are usually 8.30am - 5.00pm but we will consider shorter hours to suit. Shifts are available according to business needs and there may be opportunities for evening work. Part time contracts may also be available.


The Housekeeping team is key to our business in ensuring that our guests have a comfortable stay with us. As a Room Attendant you will be providing our guests with a high standard of accommodation, comfort and maximum guest satisfaction. As part of the Housekeeping team you will be helping to ensure our guests want to return to stay with us. As a Room Attendant you will have...

  • Previous experience as a Room Attendant (Chambermaid) or Cleaner, although full training will be given.
  • The ability to work on your own but also be a good team member who is self-motivated.
  • An eye for detail.
  • Good spoken communication skills.
  • Good presentation and hygiene standards.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend and clean at floor and high levels.
  • Some flexibility with working days to adapt to the needs of a 7 day business.)

What will I be doing as a Room Attendant?

  • Cleaning hotel guest bedrooms and bathrooms to a consistently high standard ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
  • Assisting in cleaning public areas of the hotel if required.
  • Maintaining neat and tidy linen rooms, trolleys and workspaces.
  • Knowledgeably assisting guests with enquires regarding their hotel rooms and facilities.
  • Learning and building your knowledge on all the hotel's products and services.
