Cafe Assistant

This job is ideal for someone who has experience working within the catering industry and a cafe environment. You will be involved in the day to day runnings of the business, dealing with the public and responsible for taking and making orders. The ideal candidate will go above and beyond to deliver a great customer experience, have good knowledge of the hygiene standards that are required in an environment that involves food and be able to work at a fast pace. Must be able to work in a team well and have their own initiative.

This position is for part time + hours and will need to work weekends occasionally, which will be set on a rota basis.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Take customer orders for both food and drink

- Prepare and serve food and drinks for customers to have both in and take-away

- Operate cash registers and take payments

- Clear away and clean tables

- Maintain very high cleaning standards in the premises

- Maintain a high standard of service and customer care with a friendly attitude

A driving license is desirable but not a requirement.

Hourly pay = £10.70
