LEVEL 2 TEACHING ASSISTANTS REQUIRED
Grade D
FTE £22,777- £24,054
Actual starting salary £17,361 (equivalent to £11.81ph)
(term time only + 5 inset days)
32.5 hours per week
Monday to Wednesday 8.30am to 3.30pm, Thursday 8.30am to 4pm, Friday 8.30am to 3.15pm (please note the hours are non negotiable).

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated people, who are able to engage with our students. You will be working alongside at least two other teaching assistants so you must be able to work in a team. It is essential that the successful candidate is able to communicate clearly in a calm and respectful manner, be reliable and trustworthy and work within the school’s policies, including safeguarding and child protection. Experience is not necessary but a passion to support children and young people with special educational needs is essential.
The Walnuts School is a specialist provision for children and young people with Autism and/or Social Communication Difficulties, all the students have Education, Health and Care Plans as their needs are long term.
