Support Worker/ Relief support Worker £10.70 per hour (PLUS £1 per hour weekend enhancement)

A fantastic new opportunity is available for the right person to support individuals in our new transition service based in Holgate York.
At this new service, we aim to provide support that enables our individuals to develop skills that will ultimately help them live fully independently one day.
In this role, you will take a person-centred approach to the support you will offer. This means that the individuals will be at the centre of everything that you do so that they are at the very heart of decisions and choices about their future to enable them to do as much as they can for themselves.
About your role:
You will work with our individuals who each has unique needs to help develop everyday skills, whether it be helping to cook, shopping, cleaning, or encouraging the development of new skills such as money management. This means as time goes on, the level of support you may need to provide may remain the same or lessen.
Some of the best parts about this role are creating new experiences and celebrating achievements. You will help to enable our individuals to build confidence and self-esteem to transform their lives.
About you:
You don’t need to have experience in the care sector, to join the WWFT – we provide on the job training to support you through your new career path as a Support Worker.
