Production Operator

This role is working a weekly rotating shift 7am-3pm AND 3pm-12pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 3pm-6:30pm you must be able to work both sets of shifts!

£9.50ph starting rate. £10.42ph 1st April.

The Hiring Heroes have been given the opportunity to work alongside a long standing and prestigious textile company based within the Dewsbury area, they are known UK wide for their quality products and service to their customers.

Please note, there is an opportunity to work extra hours Monday to Thursday and finish early friday!

The Job

• Working within a mill learning various textile processes some being extremely skilled.
• One to one training with senior textile technician’s with years of experience in their field.
• Machine operation, quality control and working as part of a team.
• Learning various processes of the textile industry, including some mechanical elements.
• Bespoke training on some very unique machinery.
• Some heavy lifting may be required on rare occasions.

The Person

• Must want a full time position with progression and pay increases.
• Must be able to work mornings and afternoons.
• Must have good levels of English for health and safety purposes.
• Ideally have experience within a manufacturing environment.
