Company Description TIDAL is a global music and entertainment streaming platform committed to creating a deeper connection between artists and fans through its library of more than 80 million songs, over 350,000 high quality videos, and available in over 60 countries. In addition, TIDAL offers its subscribers exclusive access to high-profile music and music videos, original content series, podcasts, documentaries, livestream concerts, tickets, merchandise and live experiences. Job Description


TIDAL’s Culture & Content team has four sub-teams, including Programming, the one where you will sit. The global Programming team plans and oversees all campaigns, keeping the app updated with relevant content, and connecting our work with labels to create relationships to enhance those campaigns and TIDAL as a valued partner overall.

We are looking for a dynamic, structured and music-loving person who will be responsible for all things editorial including local label / partner relations. You have experience and are already in the UK music industry, have knowledge in the streaming business. Experience with music, and an open attitude towards all musical genres and styles, current trends and history.

Join the TIDAL Culture & Content team as we advocate for artists, create enjoyable music experiences for our listeners, and celebrate the importance of music in our everyday lives.

Responsibilities

  • Curate and programming app daily for the UK market, including creating playlists, programming new music and video releases, handling campaigns, original content and other content programs to establish a presence in the market.

  • Develop a responsive relationship with the local music industry, including labels, artists, management, promoters, etc.

  • Create a campaign programming calendar for the UK reflecting holidays, major birthdays, etc.

  • Stay up to date on local and international release schedules, media events, and more, across all genres.

  • Study different user segments and apply insights to create content to engage users with different tastes and interests.

  • Collaborate with our Engineering, Marketing, Events, and Creative Design teams to further support global and local content projects.

  • Support local partnership programs, follow up social media and other marketing.

  • Work with the global team of music managers within TIDAL’s Culture and Content organization to reach strategic goals.


Qualifications


Requirements

  • 3 or more years of experience in the music industry / working with music curation/programming.

  • Have an already established network of industry contacts within your local market.

  • Great organizational skills and cross-departmental communication abilities; able to adapt to last minute changes in plans.

  • Strong written, verbal/interpersonal communication skills.

  • Willingness to work across different time zones and easily adapt to TIDAL’s culture and company guidelines.

  • Display a deep knowledge and experience with music across all genres.

  • Experience with digital project management tools such as AirTable.

  • Strong Microsoft Suite and Google Docs skills required (Word and Excel).

  • This position can be remote, following the European time zone.
