Position Overview & Specifications

Tokyo Live / Tokyo Industries are looking for a dynamic Ticketing Manager who is passionate about live entertainment to join our growing enterprise. The Ticketing Manager will have excellent communication, time keeping and organisational skills to work with the Head Of Live Programming and Marketing Manger to deliver ticketing options for our valued customers for a mulitude of events across all our Mancheter sites and beyond. They will focus on increasing ticket sales across all sites and oversee the management of venue show allocations, ticket mark backs and announce and on sales and show close offs. You will work with our official ticketing partners and work along our current in-house marketing team to ensure maximum sales growth for the shows. They will work with Head Of Live Programming to ticket shows across the country to Tokyo Industries sites and beyond.

The Role

  • Leading ticketing processes and decisions to maximise sales and drive revenue.
  • Managing event announce and on sale set ups with the ticket agents.
  • Liaising with promoters on ticket manifests, pricing, fees and ticket allocations.
  • Managing ticket agent allocations and inventory.
  • Monitoring sales and overseeing seeing external of internal tickets counts.
  • Updating venue show settlements with final sales data.
  • Handling customer ticket enquiries.
  • Manage live ticketing close offs and liaise with box office managers to ensure tickets are uploaded to scanners in a timely manner.
  • Produce post-show audience surveys
  • Be the first point of call for all venue and box office ticket and ticket scanner maintenance enquiries
  • Create a system to monitor yearly kickbacks and aim to increase the percentage of tickets sold via the venues.
  • Maintain a watch on allocation changes to ensure shows don’t over/undersell.
  • Manage allocations completely for in-house shows and re-allocate tickets based on sales.
  • Keep a record of all show allocations, mark backs, and overall sales.
  • Responsible for multiple weekly ticketing reports.
  • Create internal ticket reports to assist forecasting for upcoming shows.
  • Help manage guest list requests
  • Expected to be at certain live shows based on need/management request to assist with box office activities

Require skills and experience:

  • Experience in Ticketing for agent or similar promoter / venue.
  • Experience in event ticketing systems
  • Excellent numeracy skills and good knowledge of Excel.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and keep to multiple deadlines
  • Highly motivated and well organised.
