Middleweight Motion Graphics Artist/Designer

This is a rare opportunity to join our small, but highly creative team on a short-term contracted basis, but this could develop into a full-time role for the right person. We specialise in producing video content for worldwide brands, and have been doing so since 2009. We are looking for a Junior or Middleweight Motion Graphics Designer to come and work with us.

We work primarily with 2D Motion Graphics in After Effects, if you are heavily into 3D modelling or full-blown hand-drawn animation, this is not the job for you so please do not apply.

Your role:

We are a small team and as such we have a hands-on approach where all the team pitch in to get projects completed on time. However your main duties will include;

• Assisting with the production of Motion Graphic Based video content, be that 2D character animation, or more likely daily Motion Graphics to be incorporated into Live-Action footage, as well as explainer animations for company websites.
• Contributing and participating in Creative ideas towards upcoming productions that the company has in the pipeline.
• Working seamlessly on multiple motion graphics projects, whilst maintaining quality and balancing time constraints and tight deadlines.
• Working closely with the company Directors and Lead Motion Graphic Designer of the company to take on-board creative instruction and implement it across the Motion Graphics projects to maintain and sustain a 'house-style'.
• Be able to work from home efficiently.

Required Skill set;

• Proficient Knowledge of After Effects
• Proficient Knowledge of Illustrator and ability to produce bespoke digitally-drawn assets.
• A passion for 2D Motion Graphics Design and Animation.
• Hand-drawn Illustration skills.
• Proficient Knowledge of Photoshop.
• Knowledge of DSLR Canon Cameras a significant advantage.
• Good communication skills, and ability to take on-board feedback professionally.
• Be able to work well as part of a small but highly talented, (and friendly) team.
