CAD Technician - Redditch - Remote Working / Hybrid

Torque Consulting are currently seeking a CAD technician to join a client of ours who are a global engineering company and market leader, offering the best in class design opportunities and career progression.
The role will involve working with the automotive division and you will be responsible for performing the engineering work related to analysing, configuring, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading CAD models of the assigned projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and engineer high quality models using 3D and 2D CAD tools.
- Ensure that all work carried out is compliant with company knowledge, safety,
- quality, environmental compliance, and procedural standards.
- Update and maintain product design files.
- Assist in improving daily processes to ensure that the CAD systems meet
- customer requirements.
- Assist in the implementation of CAD engineering applications.
- Determine design specifications and parameters for CAD model
The ideal candidates will have:
- 2+ years Catia V5 experience (Essential)
- Siemens NX (Beneficial)
- Proven ability in surface design modelling
- Manufacturing / Automotive background
- Attention to detail
- 2D/3D design of small components
