Security Officer

An opportunity has arisen to join a growing security and cleaning services company operating in London and the home counties.

Job Overview:

We are currently recruiting Security Officers for the day-time Security Operations of a large a busy construction site. Jobholders will be responsible for the safety and security of people, premises and property at the site.

The role of Security Officer is diverse and will prove to be rewarding, with opportunities to progress into more prestigious roles.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Acting as a visual deterrent.
• Access & egress control.
• Random staff searches.
• Patrols of the inside and outside of premises.

Requirements:

• The job holder must comfortable standing or walking for long periods of the day, and working outside.
• Frontline Security Guarding or Door Supervision SIA license.
• Clear communication, both written and verbal.
• The job holder must be able to drive and have a full driving license.
• Excellent communication & administration skills.
• Must be punctual.
• Have basic computer knowledge.
• Experience of working on construction sites would be advantageous.
• CCTV License would be desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £12.00-£13.00 per hour

• SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor License (required)
