Factory Operative

We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic individuals seeking a career with an ever-changing manufacturer of Transformers & Rectifiers. We have multiple roles available within our factory located in Guildford, Surrey.

We manufacture products for the treatment of cancer and the positions are within various departments of our overall operation. The roles can be physical in nature and will involve some lifting and carrying. Full training will be given to successful applicants.

Departments:

Winding – learn to wind electrical coils for transformers

Brazing - soldering and brazing brass and copper components

Warehouse Packer - wrapping and packing products and assisting the warehouse supervisor with general warehouse duties

Tanking - tanking product and filling with mineral oil for final test

Requirements:

Mechanically orientated

Good communication skills

The ability to work alone or as part of a team

Attention to quality of what is produced

Maintaining good housekeeping and promote a safe working environment

Maintain awareness and compliance of H&S policies through training on site and adherence to them.

Remuneration & Benefits:

£12.98 per hour

25 days annual leave, excluding statutory holidays

Hours of Work:

Full-time, permanent 39 hrs per week, with the opportunity for overtime if available. This is following completion of successful probation period.

Monday – Thursday 0730 – 1630

Friday 0730 – 1230

30 minute lunch break (unpaid) and two 15 minute tea breaks
