Trainee FLT Driver - Warehouse Operative

• Dayshift - £11.12ph
• Backshift - £12.97ph
• Overtime - £16.68ph
• Overtime on a Sunday - £22.24ph

• Dayshift – Monday to Friday (Times range from 06:45 am – 15:33 pm)
• Backshift – Monday to Friday (Time range from 16:20 pm – 01:08 am)

• Dispatching.
• Quality Inspection of parts and components.
• Reworking and light assembly of parts.
• Palletizing crate assembly.
• Booking items onto computerized stock control systems.
• Palletizing or decanting and loading of boxes and stillages.
• Operating Forklift Trucks (Full training provided).

• Achieve targets and job standards as set out by Team Leader/Supervisor.
• To use Warehouse Management Systems and other IT to process customer requirements.
• Understand current task processes and relevant SLAs applied to regular services.
• Assisting with stock-taking/remapping and other accuracy-related tasks.
• Operating best practices to support 5S’ and contributing to improvement activities.
• Provide regular progress updates to the assigned Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Carry out tasks/functions as directed, following Standard Operating Procedures at all times.
• Maintain efficient and effective time management and planning processes.
• To ensure the company's Health and Safety policy is adhered to.

• The role is open to all applicants of varying levels of experience as training and development will be provided.
• Experience in operating a Forklift Truck (in-house or otherwise) is an advantage but not essential.
• Understand the importance of working as a team.
• Be professional and possess a polite and positive attitude.
• Strong organization skills and being able to work flexibly and to deadlines.
• Understand the importance of Health & Safety.

• 8-hour shifts.
• Monday to Friday.
• Overtime.
• Weekend availability.
