Position Overview & Specifications

Librarian

Salary:
Actual starting salary £7,306 per annum, on a range starting from £26,458 (FTE) per annum + significant employer contribution to Defined Benefit pension scheme
Contract type: Permanent
Working pattern: Term time only (38 weeks) + 2 days
Working hours: 12 hours per week, 2 days a week (days to be agreed)
Required: April 2023 or sooner
Pioneer Educational Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Librarian to join our professional and dedicated educational support staff team at Trevelyan Middle School.
We are looking to appoint a member of staff who has a "can do" attitude and is flexible, practical, pro-active, energetic and diligent to support our existing teams in delivering excellent service. The successful candidate must have a level 2 qualification in English and Maths.

We are looking for an individual who:
  • Is highly organised and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Has an understanding of the services that a School Library offers.
  • Has the literacy and numeracy skills to be able to organise library items.
  • Has at least a level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
Duties will include:
  • Being responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of the library.
  • Assisting pupils and staff in the use of the facility.
Currently, the Trust Schools are Upton Court Grammar School in Slough, Trevelyan Middle School in Windsor and Foxborough Primary School in Langley.
