Reporting Analyst - Bridgwater or Bristol

Due to growing demand for our services we are seeking to recruit an experienced Reporting Analyst. The role involves supporting a wide range of projects of all sizes and dimensions and we are seeking an individual with experience of delivery within major projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing multi-faceted reports with recommendations to senior management

• Development, analysis and maintenance of corporate datasets

• Provide guidance and advice on data quality issues to a wide variety of data providers

• Preparing presentation and other materials for clients

Essential Skills & Experience

• Some experience of working in a project environment as a Project Controls or Project Management professional

• Strong analytic and numeracy skills with the ability to understand and present data in different representations

• Demonstrable track record in identifying reporting and data requirements and documenting these using the appropriate types of tools and documentation

• Strong communicator, (both written and verbal), to liaise with the client, contractors and designers

• Familiarity with Power BI or other Business Intelligence Analytics tools to create interrogatable dashboards

• Experience developing data management to support reporting including data structures, exports, storage, manipulation and automation

• Proficient in the use of Excel with ability in order to create automated dashboards, graphs and tables

• Knowledge of project or programme office function (PMO)

• Degree in a numerate subject, or HND or equivalent qualification with recognised experience commensurate with skills.
• Training in project management methodology, such as PMQ or PRINCE2.
• Ability, or desire to learn, to programme in languages such as VBA and SQL
