Role Overview & Responsibilities

This position could be a potential career start for the right applicant. Starting pay is living/minimum wage. Applicants must be able to start immediately and have no period of unavailability during June to mid September - this is our busiest period.

Job Purpose:

  • Operate embroidery machines.
  • Process, pack and despatch orders with speed and accuracy. Meet deadlines.
  • Work to the needs of the business.

Job Duties:

- Operate embroidery machines, prepare goods for embroidery and process through to packing and despatch. Comply with routine care and maintenance of machinery.

· Process orders from picking to despatch

· Pick items from the shelves based on style, size, colour, quantity, and embroidery requirements

· Ensure that orders are accurate throughout the process from picking to despatch

· Meet daily time deadlines for processes and despatch

· Plans and monitors product storage and despatch

· Oversees stock replenishment

· Monitors stock control systems and processing of specific orders

· Ensures warehouse goals are met

· Ensures safety regulations are followed

· Maintains a high level of health and safety standards

· Loading and offloading delivery vehicles

· Operates scanners so that the proper order is picked and inventory is managed accurately

· Despatch orders to collection deadlines dealing with EOD procedures

· Performs other general warehouse duties as needed including general household and cleaning

Skills and Qualifications:

Previous Experience Working in a Warehouse Preferred; Keen Attention to Detail; Ability to Lift Heavy Objects; Ability to Stay on Feet for Long Periods of Time; Positive Attitude; Self-Motivated; Active; Safety Conscious; Ability to Work in a Fast Paced, Busy Environment; Good Communication Skills; Ability to Work Well in a Team and Be Self-Motivated and Independent at Times

Salary: £7.97-£13.13 per hour
